The CA FWD Young Leaders Program (YLP) is a 12-month program that elevates the next generation of industry, policy, and nonprofit leaders. The program focuses on organizational leadership, durable and technical skills, peer knowledge exchange, and opportunities to learn directly from California’s experts on the issues shaping the state’s regions, from economic development to climate resilience. Members attend in-person retreats and are part of a statewide, cross-sector network of leaders who are rooted in their communities and in themselves.

CA FWD’s YLP is open to California residents ages 20 to 25 from every region, sector, and background who are committed to collaborating across generations and accelerating the shift toward a New California Economy built on sustained, resilient, and inclusive growth.
