Working Together For A More Inclusive Democracy: Future of California Elections 2015 Conference

Join California Forward and other members of the Future of California Elections listen to local and national experts discuss the latest developments in election administration and civic engagement. The theme of this year’s conference, Working Together For A More Inclusive Democracy, reflects the successes and innovations that have resulted from the collaborations in the field of elections in California and across the nation.

Keynote Speaker: Chief Justice Tani G. Cantil-Sakauye

As keynote speaker, Chief Justice Tani G. Cantil-Sakauye of the California Supreme Court will kick off the two-day conference on February 18 by discussing the importance of investing in civic education. Other speakers will discuss California’s diverse voters and the importance of working in partnerships to ensure all voters can participate in elections. Conference participants should expect to listen to dynamic panel discussions, engage with their peers in the election field, as well as meet other election stakeholders that are working toward the collective effort of modernizing elections and expanding participation in California’s democracy.
