Hannah Joy is the Business Development and Loan Officer with North Edge, a rural Community Development Financial Institution serving six counties in Northern California. Her work supports small businesses, nonprofits, and community projects through mission-driven financing and regional economic development efforts in rural and Tribal communities. She works directly with
entrepreneurs and partners across a geographically large and economically diverse region, helping structure financing for projects that often face barriers in traditional capital markets.

North Edge also plays a broader role in regional collaboration, supporting long-term economic planning, public program delivery, and cross-sector partnerships. In this context, Hannah brings experience at the intersection of lending, public programs, and regional strategy. Prior to working in business finance and economic development, she owned and operated her own business for ten years, an experience that informs her approach to working with entrepreneurs and community-based organizations.
