Guadalupe Dabos

Guadalupe Dabos is a recent graduate of California State University, Sacramento, where she earned a B.A. in International Relations and was recognized as the Outstanding Graduating Student in Political Science.

Originally from Pittsburgh (PA), but raised in Argentina, where she lived for 17 years, Guadalupe brings a bicultural perspective and a strong commitment to public service shaped by her global background and personal journey. She moved back to the U.S. on a Division I athletic scholarship and served as co-captain of the women’s golf team, experiences that deepened her resilience, leadership, and people-first approach to policy.

Guadalupe currently works in the California State Senate in the Office of Senator Anna Caballero, where she’s helped coordinate and lead high-level meetings with international delegations from Canada, Argentina, China, and the European Union. She supports the Senator’s work through legislative research, policy analysis, and general administration, and has worked on issues including energy, mental health, economic policy, immigration and women’s rights. She contributed to major efforts such as SB 769, the Golden State Infrastructure Fund, and is also engaged in projects related to social justice and community outreach.

Her previous experience includes supporting anti-human trafficking efforts across 31 counties with the International Rescue Committee and facilitating international exchange through Global Ties Sacramento. A passionate advocate for inclusive leadership, she has also taught golf to youth from diverse backgrounds, using sport as a tool for connection and confidence-building.

Guided by curiosity, authenticity, and a love for people, Guadalupe thrives in dynamic environments where diplomacy, equity, and creativity intersect. She is passionate about leveraging policy to create globally informed, locally rooted solutions that uplift and empower diverse communities.
