Alana is an Energy Analyst at the California Energy Commission and manages federal grid resilience grants through the Community Energy Reliability and Resilience Investment (CERRI) Program. She has promoted equity in the program’s development and created community engagement and workforce development best practices. Alana graduated from UC Davis in 2023 with a degree in Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning. While there, she organized the Student Sustainability Career Fair, coordinated the Green Workplace Program at the UC Davis Office of Sustainability, headed up several sustainability initiatives with the Environmental Policy and Planning Commission, and interned at CivicWell through the Ted Bradshaw Scholarship program. Alana is looking forward to further developing her leadership skills in YLP and working with the members of her cohort to secure a clean, affordable energy future for all Californians.
