Colm O’Reilly Fitzgerald is a Stockton native, current Legal Studies student at University of California, Santa Cruz and recent graduate of San Joaquin Delta College.

He is a former member of the Board of Governors where he represented over two million California Community College students. In his tenure, Fitzgerald successfully advocated for stable funding for the Student Senate for California Community Colleges, an increased focus on basic needs, financial aid reform, and the empowerment of the student voice including full rights and privileges of the first-year student Board of Governors member.

As a member of the CAFWD’s Young Leaders Council, he hopes to empower other aspiring leaders by advancing relevant leadership opportunities.
