The Inland Empire, an important transportation hub in California, hosted a regional economic forum this week. California Forward’s team was there to cover the event and spoke with key strategic economy leaders in this video report.
The forum highlighted the region’s poorly educated workforce and how job creation is seemingly not a priority for government agencies. A majority of attendees polled said that partnerships between education and industry should be encouraged and that curricula should become a better match with the needs of industry clusters in the Inland Empire.
