Californians like to think that we practically invented innovation. When you look at how we lead the world in technology, in agriculture, in entertainment, it’s pretty hard to argue with that assertion. However, some are concerned that we have been resting our laurels.
Small business people around California were consistent in each of the 14 Regional Forums. They are saying “we need some help in getting our ideas developed and we also need to find ways to raise money to help our businesses”.
Those are two areas that the first California Economic Summit will be emphasizing at the May 11 meeting in Santa Clara.
