California’s legislature approved $250 million in grant money to spur schools and industry to partner up. These partnerships are intended to give students clearly defined career pathways in high-skill, in-demand jobs.
Many across the state, including Senate President pro Tem Darrell Steinberg, have made career pathway projects a priority because career technical jobs are going unfilled in California, are well-paying and key to bolstering the middle class here.
