Carl Guardino, the CEO of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group (SVLG), has hosted “The CEO Show” on KLIV radio in San Jose for many years. Carl is a high profile member of the Silicon Valley high tech community. The organization he heads up is the unified voice of the high tech community on a range of matters, including tax policy, environmental policy, housing policy, transportation policy, and much more. From the beginning of California Forward’s work, Carl and the SVLG have been supportive of necessary reforms of California’s outdated governance tools. ??In addition to his “day job”, Carl also serves on the California Transportation Commission, and in that capacity has been a vocal advocate of a more modern and efficient transportation system for our growing state.? It is always a pleasure to spend time with Carl, who is an avid cyclist and “work-out nut”. He is full of positive energy, good ideas, and an effective advocate for a better California.
