Claudia Ruiz-Alvarez

Claudia Ruiz-Alvarez is a seasoned professional who has dedicated her career to public service. With over a decade of experience in local government, Claudia has honed her skills in policy development, community engagement, and project management. During her time as Chief of Staff, Claudia oversaw constituent services for a council district of over 70,000 residents. She has a proven track record of working collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve common goals and has been recognized for her ability to navigate complex political landscapes.

In addition to her government experience, Claudia has also spent six years working in non-profit administration. In this capacity, she has focused on philanthropy management, donor relationships and externally advised grants and scholarship management. She has a deep understanding of the non-profit sector and has worked closely with volunteers, donors, and community partners to advance the mission and values of the Central Valley Community Foundation. Throughout her career, Claudia has been motivated by a desire to make a meaningful difference in her community. Claudia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from California State University Fresno.
