Alyssa Kroeger

Alyssa Kroeger is a dynamic housing and community development practitioner with a background in policy advocacy, community engagement, and strategic planning. She has experience in program management, marketing and communications, and has led successful initiatives to improve housing accessibility and affordability for underserved groups. Her passion for helping others, combined with her lived experience makes her a dedicated advocate for more equitable, sustainable, and inclusive systems.

As a Morgan Fellow, Alyssa is honored to engage in peer-learning with leaders from across the state, sharing ideas and collaborating on innovative approaches to create more resilient, thriving communities through a triple bottom line approach. She is committed to continuous learning and growth, and looks forward to applying her skills and expertise to make a meaningful impact.

When Alyssa is not engaged in work or the Becky Morgan Steward Leadership Program, she can be found serving on the Monterey Bay Area Continuum of Care’s Leadership Council and the Housing Options Meaningful to Elders (H.O.M.E.) Collaborative Steering Committee or connecting with the Monterey Bay Clima y Equidad group. In her downtime, she enjoys exploring the great outdoors with her rescue cattle dog.
