Sara Amiot is a climate adaptation and natural resources professional with over 5 years of federal experience with the US Forest Service. She specializes in translating ecological science into actionable strategies for wildfire resilience, forest carbon management, and restoration planning. With a background spanning wildland fire management, water rights advocacy, endangered species recovery, and landscape-scale monitoring, Sara is currently pursuing a Master of Climate Solutions at UC Berkeley to further bridge the gap between science and implementation for nature-based climate initiatives. A desert dweller from Tucson, Arizona, she loves to chase the sunshine hiking with her dog, riding her bike, practicing yoga, and baking bread.
