Rashel Bajaj is a Master of Climate Solutions candidate at UC Berkeley with expertise at the intersection of climate policy, environmental justice, and decarbonization. As a former Consultant at Engie Impact, she advised governments and corporations on leveraging federal policy instruments, including the IRA and IIJA, to advance decarbonization and climate resilience, with work on Connecticut’s Clean Hydrogen Roadmap and Community Benefits Plans for DOE and IRA tax credit applications. At Engie Impact, she also advised companies on developing climate risk transition plans throughout their supply chain. She currently serves as a student consultant to both the India Energy and Climate Center, researching parametric heat insurance policy for informal workers, and California Forward, supporting a national convening to improve and advance partnerships for community benefit agreements
