Ismael (Ish) Herrera is a Senior Advisor at CA FWD. Since 2019, he has coordinated the peer-learning and collective impact activities of the California Stewardship Network (CSN) and supported the advancement of CA FWD’s priorities through the California Economic Summit and other programmatic activities.

Ish is an alum of Cohort 2 of the Becky Morgan Steward Leadership Program. He has dedicated 16 years to public service and currently serves on the City Council for the City of Kerman (Fresno County). Ish earned two bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Chicano/Latino Studies from the University of California, Irvine and a Master’s degree in Education Policy and Management from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
