Amanda Portier

Amanda Portier is a local government professional committed to advancing equitable solutions that address community needs. She serves as the Business & Community Engagement Specialist in the City Manager’s Office for the City of Woodland, where she leads initiatives in economic development, civic engagement, and policy innovation.

She earned her B.S. in Community and Regional Development with a minor in Statistics from the University of California, Davis where she received the 2022 University Medal, an award given to the top graduating senior for academic excellence, leadership, and community service. During her time at U.C. Davis, she chaired the board for the nation’s largest student-run event, co-founded Women in Data @ UC Davis, and co-authored published research on gentrification and economic development programs.

Amanda is passionate about using inclusive public policy and data-driven approaches to strengthen local economies and foster equitable community growth.
