Caitlin Blockus is a Project Manager leading workforce development initiatives at Valley Vision, a triple-bottom-line nonprofit advancing regional and statewide strategies to improve economic mobility and livability in the Capital Region.
Since joining Valley Vision in 2021, Caitlin has spearheaded initiatives engaging employers, education leaders, workforce boards, and community organizations to strengthen career pathways, align talent systems with evolving industry needs, and advance equitable access to high-quality jobs. She formerly led Valley Vision’s Broadband and Digital Equity impact area, supporting efforts to expand connectivity and digital skills across underserved communities.
Caitlin brings experience from political consulting, campaigns, and grassroots organizing, including work on ballot measure campaigns and Northern California congressional races. In these roles, she led voter engagement, coalition-building, and field operations, grounding her approach to systems change in fostering shared values and strong community partnerships.
Shaped by her upbringing in rural El Dorado County, her undergraduate experience at UC Riverside, and her current home in Sacramento, Caitlin has a heart for rural communities and underdog cities. She is guided by the belief that strengthening local communities and expanding access to quality jobs can create lasting economic and social progress across California — because a good job can change a life.
