Marc Marger
Administrative and Grants Manager

As Administrative and Grants Manager, Marc plays a central role in ensuring CA FWD’s
dynamic, high-impact team has the operational infrastructure, resources, and support
needed to drive a more inclusive and sustainable California economy. In this role, he
supports grant writing and administration, strengthens internal workflows, manages
administrative and technical systems, and coordinates cross-departmental projects and
logistics to advance CA FWD’s mission and major initiatives, including the California
Economic Summit.

Marc brings more than 28 years of nonprofit leadership experience spanning
operations, program administration, contract and grant management, and strategic
initiatives that strengthen communities and expand economic mobility. His career
includes leadership roles at Western Youth Services, Charitable Ventures, Illumination
Foundation, Family Assistance Ministries, AIDS Services Foundation Orange County,
and South County Senior Services, where he oversaw organizational operations,
funding partnerships, and programmatic initiatives focused on housing, health equity,
and community well-being.

Marc earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Irvine, and
holds professional certifications in Volunteer Management and Human Resources. He
currently serves on the Board of Directors for No Square Theatre and the Casitas del
Rio Homeowners Association, and remains an active contributor to regional community
theater and civic engagement efforts.
