Emily Boettger
Emily Boettger is a land conservation and engagement specialist committed to enriching community connections to place. As a graduate of Boston College with a degree in Political Science, she specialized in environmental policy and participatory decision-making, laying the foundation for her people-first approach to conservation.
In her current role as the Land Protection Outreach Specialist for Sequoia Riverlands Trust (SRT), Emily collaborates with landowners, local agencies and stakeholders to advance voluntary land protection and groundwater sustainability initiatives across the Southern Central Valley. Her work supports natural habitats, sustainable agriculture, and community resilience in one of California’s most ecologically and economically vital regions.
With a lifelong love for healthy lands, passion for authentic connection, and enthusiasm for unlikely partnership, Emily takes an equity-centered, collaborative approach to every initiative helping to protect the lands we all rely on.
