Isis Morfin is a current student at Hartnell Community College. She is working towards earning an Associate in Arts for Transfer (AA-T) degree in Psychology and Administration of Justice. After earning her AA-T, Isis will pursue her bachelor’s degree at one of the Cal State University campuses. Morfin currently works with ACES ABA as a behavioral technician.  She is committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals and families impacted by autism and other special needs.

Isis completed community organizational training through the ACLU Emerging Leaders Institute. She is deeply committed to community advocacy and engagement. Her work throughout California’s network of youth-led and community-based organizations demonstrates her investment in the future of the state. She is and active member of the California Youth Connection (CYC), The Epicenter and Youth 4 Action. Isis credits these engagements with providing her the opportunity to use her personal experience in the foster care system and with homelessness to guide other people who are navigating these complex systems.

Isis is excited to join YLAC and looks forward to contributing her skills and experience to help motivate other young adults to take action through policy and build an equitable space where all Californians have the opportunity to succeed.
