Jade Magaña has developed her passion for education and housing policy through her internship at California Forward (CA Fwd). As a Loveridge Fellow, Jade aided CA Fwd in the development of the California Dream Index and the 2020 Economic Summit. She has been a core member of the Young Leaders Advisory Council. She also served as a legal intern for the Inland Counties Legal Services where she assisted attorneys in providing clients with public benefits.
Jade is graduating with honors from the University of California, Riverside with her B.A. in Political Science/International Affairs in the spring. She recently completed an internship for the United States Department of Justice (DOJ), Disability Rights and has been accepted into law school.
She is the proud daughter of immigrant parents from Mexico and dreams that her work will provide lasting opportunities for marginalized communities.
