Ellinor Arzbaecher is a first-year undergraduate student at the University of California, Berkeley, and is currently working towards a degree in Conservation and Resource Studies. Originally from Sacramento, she became involved in environmental advocacy groups during high school and worked with organizations like 350.org, Sunrise Movement, and Fridays for Future to further local climate initiatives. As an activist, she helped organize various youth-centered sustainability events and cites intersectional environmental justice and equity as her main drives. Most notably, she was on the Future Leaders of California main stage panel at the 2020 Economic Summit and presented at the closing plenary of the 2019 Behavior, Energy & Climate Change Conference in Sacramento. She is currently a member of CA FWD’s Youth Advisory Council and is working alongside the rest of the team to bring youth voice and representation to the California Economic Summit.
