Since the state enacted the Local Control Funding Formula, CA Fwd and California School Boards Association have worked together to build the capacity of local school districts and county offices of education to transform educational outcomes. A collaborative of 15 school districts and two County Offices of Education is learning from each other to improve public engagement and the use of data to deliver better results.
In a recent meeting, the collaborative members met for a day with seven equity groups from across California. The equity groups have been pushing school districts to move faster to bridge the educational gap in California.
The day was productive for all as CA Fwd's Angel Cardenas reports.
