Video: Breaking down California Millennials

Milliennials, also known as Generation Y, encompass different subsets of the California youth population depending on who you talk to. Generally, someone with a birthday in the mid-1980s through the mid-1990s is considered a part of this generation.

What isn’t in question is that they are in the early stages of their careers and are being primed to to lead our state and its industries across the board, making them an important group to assess right now. We conducted an extensive survey of Californians falling into this age group and found that they are extremely optimistic about our government and our state’s future in ways that older generations are not.
