Joshua Mendoza

Joshua Mendoza is a University of California, Riverside Ronald Loveridge Summer Fellow and Intern at California Forward, where he supports strategic initiatives related to climate resilience, professional development, and economic development.

Joshua’s experience includes research and analysis aimed at helping local governments strengthen their budget planning processes and advance policies that promote the well-being of California’s communities. He currently serves as a Teaching Assistant at UC Riverside, where he supports students in building the skills and knowledge needed for careers in public interest and government.

Joshua is pursuing a Master’s in Public Policy at the University of California, Riverside. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Public Policy from UC Riverside, where he was a student-athlete on the track and field team. Joshua is from the heart of the Inland Empire and a proud Californian, with hopes that his work can contribute to making the Inland Empire and all of California’s regions more prosperous.
