Leah Grassini Moehle
Leah Grassini Moehle is a Program Manager for California Forward, and the main contact for the one million more skilled workers challenge for the California Economic Summit. Her main focus at CA Fwd is on employer engagement, career pathways, career technical education, civic leadership, and effective coordination in the workforce domain.
While earning a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Sustainability and Social Justice at San Francisco State University, Leah worked for a local nonprofit dedicated to environmental education through hands-on urban gardening experiences and a language and literacy center that created individualized plans for every student to regain confidence and find success. Leah went on to obtain a Master of Public Administration from Sonoma State University, where she worked for a financial advisor.
At CA Fwd, Leah works with the California Community College Chancellor's Office, and numerous civic organizations and business leaders throughout California, to implement the Strong Workforce Program. While coordinating this work, Leah also manages a new executive training program, in partnership with Stanford, aimed to build out the capacity of civic stewards to influence higher education reform.
Outside of work, Leah has had the opportunity to travel all over the world. She has visited Canada, Mexico, Italy, France, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, China, and almost all of the United States.
